Inbound

Bring your master data into Weissr Capex.

Inbound integrations keep Weissr Capex aligned with your systems of record. Pre-built imports for users, organisational structure, FX rates, property codes, and project actuals — via REST API in JSON or CSV files over SFTP.

  • User provisioning & SSOSAML 2.0 / OIDC against Azure AD / Entra ID, Okta, OneLogin and other compliant IdPs. Real-time user-status API keeps Weissr Capex in sync with your IdP — joiners, movers and leavers handled automatically.
  • Master dataLegal entities, profit centres, cost centres, general ledger codes, property relations.
  • FX ratesDaily rate refresh via API or file import. No manual entry, no stale numbers in board reports.
  • Project actuals from ERPSpend, cash, and committed transactions linked back to the Weissr Capex project for live budget vs. actuals tracking.
  • Per-source authenticationEach ERP system is issued its own credentials — incoming data is authenticated and attributed to the correct source.
Outbound

Push approved projects out to your ERP.

Once a project is approved in Weissr Capex, the data flows directly into your ERP — no re-keying, no parallel reconciliations. Multiple destinations can be configured per company, division, or asset category, and routing happens automatically based on project properties.

  • Approved projects to ERPProject data exported as WBS / Internal Order in SAP, or the equivalent in Oracle, IFS, and other systems. ERP project ID returned to Weissr Capex for full traceability.
  • Multi-destination routingDefine multiple export destinations. Routing rules choose the right one automatically based on company, division, or asset category.
  • Reporting data exportDatabase-friendly schema feeds your BI / data warehouse layer — Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or your own.
  • Idempotent & retriableRe-sending the same approved project never creates duplicates. Failed exports surface in the UI and can be retried manually or automatically.
  • Sync or asyncWeissr Capex can wait for ERP confirmation or fire the export and receive status updates later. TLS 1.2+ for everything in transit. Full audit log.

Typical integrations

Pre-built for the integration patterns capex teams actually need.

Weissr Capex covers both workflow integrations — tied directly to the capex approval and execution flow — and non-workflow integrations that keep reference data current.

New · MCP Connector

An MCP connector for AI agents and other systems.

Weissr Capex exposes its data through a Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector, so external systems and AI agents can connect and retrieve the data they need on demand — securely, with the same role-based access controls as a human user. Every retrieval is audit-logged. The easiest path for "give me an agent that can answer capex questions" without writing custom integration code.

How it works

Designed for enterprise integration teams.

Weissr Capex supports the standards your integration team already uses. Configure once, run reliably.

Configure as many export endpoints as you need. Routing happens dynamically based on Weissr Capex project properties such as company or division.
Basic Auth, API key, OAuth 2.0, certificate-based — pick the standard your security team prefers. TLS 1.2+ for everything in transit.
Standard Weissr Capex data mappers support both JSON and XML. Per-destination payload format keeps integration simple on the receiving side.
Choose whether Weissr Capex waits for ERP confirmation or fires the export and receives status updates later. Either way, success and failure are surfaced to users.
Failed exports can be retried automatically or manually without creating duplicates. Re-sending the same project is always safe.
Separate endpoint, credential and mapping configurations per environment. Promote integrations safely from development to production.

FAQ

What is the difference between the three SAP connectors?

Connector 1 (Master Data Sync) transfers validated master data from SAP S/4HANA into Weissr Capex — company codes, cost centres, GL codes — automatically, with no manual synchronisation. Connector 2 (Project Export) sends approved projects from Weissr Capex into SAP as WBS elements or Internal Orders the moment they are sanctioned, with the SAP project ID returned to Weissr Capex for traceability. Connector 3 (SAP BTP/CPI) is currently in development and will allow organisations whose SAP landscape runs through SAP Business Technology Platform to connect without additional middleware.

Which ERP systems does Weissr integrate with?

Weissr Capex is an official SAP partner with native S/4HANA connectors. We also have live integration with Oracle Fusion ERP and tested integration patterns for IFS. Any other ERP can be connected via REST API, SFTP, custom data mapper, or middleware (MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps, Boomi).

Do we need middleware for SAP?

No. The Weissr Capex SAP Connectors are installed on the SAP side and communicate natively with Weissr Capex — no middleware required. For other ERPs, you can either implement a custom data mapper or insert a middleware layer; both options are fully supported.

How does authentication work?

Outbound to ERP supports Basic Auth, API key, OAuth 2.0, and certificate-based authentication. Inbound from ERP, each source system is issued its own credentials so incoming data is authenticated and attributed correctly. All traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.2+. Separate credentials and endpoint configurations per environment (dev / test / prod).

Can we route different projects to different ERP instances?

Yes. Multiple export destinations can be configured in Weissr Capex. The target destination is selected dynamically based on project properties — for example, the company or division field on the project form determines which ERP instance receives the export.

How do we get reporting data into Power BI or Tableau?

Weissr Capex exposes a database-friendly schema designed for BI consumption. Connect Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or any tool that reads from a database, or use file-based exports for environments that need them.

What about user provisioning?

Weissr Capex integrates with Azure AD / Entra ID, Okta, OneLogin and other SAML 2.0 / OIDC identity providers for single sign-on. A real-time API keeps user status in Weissr Capex in sync with your IdP — joiners, movers and leavers handled automatically.

What is the MCP connector?

The MCP connector exposes Weissr Capex data through the open Model Context Protocol standard. Any system or AI agent that speaks MCP — including AI assistants, BI tools, and bespoke internal applications — can connect and retrieve data on demand. Authentication runs through your IdP, the same role-based access controls apply as for human users, and every retrieval is audit-logged. It is the simplest path for "give me an agent that can answer capex questions" without writing custom integration code.

How long does an integration take to set up?

Pre-built connectors (SAP, SSO, FX rates) typically configure in days. End-to-end implementation including bespoke mapping and customer-side ERP work usually takes 1–4 months depending on the complexity of your ERP environment.
